Coordination Activity Report: March 2022

Highlights include:

  • A total of 22 coordination meetings were held in March, including discussions on the impact of the war in Ukraine on the MENA region, as well as meetings with the WASH and SNFI sectors and monthly meetings of the Area Coordination Groups in the three regions.

  • OCHA South Office continued meetings with representatives of displaced families from Murzuq to follow up on the situation of IDPs, as well as their planned return in July. Discussions were also held to follow up on the reconciliation agreement between Tebu and the Arab population of Murzuq signed in Tunis on 27 March.

  • In March, the Humanitarian Access Unit held ten meetings with partners, sector coordinators and other stakeholders to discuss and follow up on humanitarian access and response issues in the three regions, in addition to preparing the monthly Humanitarian Access Snapshot report. The Unit also organized a workshop on impediments to humanitarian access for focal points from humanitarian agencies operating in Libya.
