We too are frontliners (MSME)

Mark Hernandez, owner of MVH Food House located in Muntinlupa City, didn’t hesitate to offer help during quarantine. Through his business, he sent free siomai meals to the frontliners of their community. “We should spread love and share because we know how it feels to be in need,” he says.

Maura de Leon, President of Glorious Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), shares that she feels “joy in sharing; in giving not only material things but also love and compassion.” She makes sure that this is demonstrated even during #COVID19 through GIDC’s efforts for its staff and community: “We see to it that all our employees receive cash assistance, food supplements, face masks, and other forms of support.”

With GIDC’s help, 15 hospitals in Metro Manila, Angeles, Laguna, and Cavite received Glorious Blend products and food supplements, and over a hundred church workers in Bulacan, Samar, Pangasinan, Caloocan, and Quezon City received cash and GIDC products. GIDC also distributed rice, canned goods, vegetables, Glorious products, and food supplements for 20 barangays and 20 health centers.

During the pandemic, Full Creative Innovations produced and distributed thousands of face shields and aerosol boxes for different hospitals, doctors, and frontliners. Fritz Macaraig, owner of the signs and prints shop, says, “We can always do better and be more effective in our response. Generally, the most fundamental objective is to save lives, prevent and reduce suffering, and preserve human dignity.”
